A curator from the New York Public Library recently came across the image when looking through its stock at the Schomburg Center for Research In Black Culture. West was ducking from paparazzi seemingly to avoid getting his picture taken, but inadvertently gave the photographers some good footage. The rapper, who has a gash on his forehead from the street sign, didn’t like how the whole thing went down.

And, indeed, Yeezy season is fast approaching. June Eighteen is the rumored drop date for Kanye West’s sixth solo LP. The follow-up to 2010′s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is said to be ” dark but really good .” Mohawke, who is also one half of the DJ duo TNGHT, played two clips between mixes of TNGHT tracks like ” Goooo ” at Poland’s Free Form Festival in Warsaw.
