Solange Knowles Marries Music Video Director Alan Ferguson

Solange Knowles tied the knot with music video director Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Sunday. The ceremony, attended by Knowles’ big sister Beyoncé and brother-in-law Jay Z, took place at Holy Trinity Church in the Crescent City’s Bywater neighborhood, Us Weekly reports. Nicki Minaj Pours Her Heart Out on ‘Bed of Lies’

Last week at MTV’s European Music Awards, scene-stealing host Nicki Minaj gave a live premiere of her new collaboration with Skylar Grey on the ballad “Bed of Lies.” On Saturday night, Minaj released the full studio version of the song on iTunes as the fourth single off her upcoming new album, The Pinkprint . Fall Music Preview 2014: 25 Must-Hear Albums The song opens with Grey’s vocal hook and restrained keyboard work before Minaj jumps in with a heartfelt litany of grievances about a scummy ex. “You could never make eye contact / Everything you got was based off of my contacts,” she raps in her tale of betrayal. In an interview with Billboard shortly after the EMAs performance, Grey explained how the collaboration transpired.

Kendrick Lamar made his debut on Saturday Night Live nearly two years ago, basking in the acclaim of his first album,  Good Kid, m.A.A.d City . With his follow-up in the works and expected to arrive sometime soon, the 27-year-old Compton rapper made a triumphant return to the show last night, in an episode hosted by Woody Harrelson.
